Good Morning Junior Infants!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We were so lucky the weather was so good. My children painted our tree house and I spent lots of time in the garden. We baked and cooked lots of food and went for our daily 2km walk/run every day.
Every Monday I am going to put up the work for the week which you can do when you can. I am giving you a SUGGESTED timetable of how to work during the day and lots of the activities will be based around AISTEAR. For the next two weeks it is: The Zoo. In school we divide the Aistear into 5 stations every day.
1. Junk Art
2. Construction
3. Water/sand
4. Role Play
5. Playdoh/ Drawing/ Outside
Your child will be familiar with these when they see them. I am hoping their stay at home has developed their creativity even further. Use whatever items you have at home to create these stations. Link these activites to Maths/Irish/Pe/Art when you can. Learning is much easier when it is fun!
Please continue to read whatever you can at home each day or listen to a story. Some parents have said the Oxfrod Reading Owl is very good for the children to read at their level. The link for this:
