Making magnets!

The class made magnets this week and had to investigate what type of surfaces they would stick to. I think they found them all! 

Road Safety Authority demonstration

The Road Safety Authority visited the school this week to give the children a demonstration. The children learned all about road safety, the rules of keeping safe when on the road and even got their pictures taken for their 'safety licence', which they received on the day. 'Mata sa Rang'

We are also half way through the 'Mata sa Rang' programme in Junior Infants. The children are having great fun at each of the stations and are learning a variety of wonderful Maths skills. Again, a huge thank you to Miss Farmer, Miss Smith, Miss O'Neill, Miss Keaney and Nicole for all their help!

'Lift-off to Literacy'

We are half way through the 'Lift-off to Literacy' programme in Junior Infants. The children are learning important literacy skills at each station. They are all really enjoying it and are working very hard. Huge thanks to Miss Farmer, Miss Finnegan, Miss O'Neill, Miss Keaney and Nicole for all their help!
