What an artistic bunch we are! Here are some of our wonderful creations!

We drew maps to show the way to "Little Red Riding Hood's" Grandma's house!

We had lots of fun and learned so much during "Liftoff to Literacy"! A big thank you to Ms McGabhann, Ms O'Neill, Ms Farmer, Ms Thornton and everybody who helped us at each station!

Easter time

Easter time was very busy in Killygarry N.S. We all dressed up for 'The Easter 1916 Commemoration' celebrations in the school. We watched a drama being performed by the upper classes and we had a ceremony outside the school to raise the Irish flag. We might have had some chocolate too!

The pupils in Junior Infants have been having so much fun in Aistear this year! They have done lots of role-play, including, 'The CafĂ©', "Little Red Riding Hood", 'Construction', 'The Clothes Shop', "The Farm", "The Travel Agents", and so much more! They did lots of activities at Literacy and Numeracy stations and they also practiced fine motor skills. Take a look at some of the things they have been up to! What a creative bunch!

All the pupils dressed up for "World Book Day". Everybody made a great effort. Don't they look fantastic!
